Sarah’s perspective on therapy:
The relationship between client and therapist is the most crucial part of the therapy process. My connection with clients is based on empathy, unconditional compassion and understanding, and non-judgment. I create and sustain a supportive holding space where you can feel free to be your authentic, true self. We will work together to explore your goals, strengths, areas for development, and action steps that will guide the process of healing, self-improvement, and growth. This supports the process of healing old wounds, traumas, emotions, and inner dialogues that have been interfering with personal growth. As our brains and bodies are wired for homeostasis and internal stability, working holistically and collaboratively guides us to this goal. In my work, I have witnessed clients’ unique abilities shine through to tackle their distress, create a foundation of self-confidence, and reconnect with their true selves and values. Therapy holds such beautiful opportunities for growth of which I am honored to be a part.
